Come & Join the Fun:
Interactive Cajun cooking classes
Recently, Gumbo2Go.com has been working diligently at organizing new Cajun cooking classes around the region. So far, we've gotten lots of positive response from both business owners & cooking enthusiasts wanting to learn more about Cajun food.
What we are offering is a very enjoyable & hands-on class that will teach you how to prepare authentic Bayou Country dishes. These classes will mainly be held in an outdoor setting cooking on propane burners, black iron pots, wooden spoons & of course Cajun music. You will be teamed up in pairs and be coached through the steps of cooking the real Cajun deal. And.....you get to bring home your "extras" to share with friends & family!
Being in a relaxed and informal setting lends itself to an enjoyable time. And of course you will be provided with more information about the Cajun culture and cuisine that you probably care to remember! So bring your questions....I would be happy to answer them.
We'll provide all of the cooking equipment, "pre-prepared" ingredients, chairs, drinks & snacks. No mess, no fuss, just a fun time.......Come as you are.
Along with learning how to prepare new food dishes you will get to meet other people who enjoy similar interests. Expect to have fun!
Hope to see you there, J.J. Aucoin
